1. Create your account
Click "Try free" at the top of any page. Sign up with your email and password, then click the verification link we email you.
2. Upload your first PDF
From your workspace, click the + Upload PDF button (top right) or drag a file onto the empty-state panel. Up to 500 pages and 50 MB. We extract and index the document's text.
How long does upload take?
Most documents are ready in under 30 seconds. Long scanned filings (1,000+ pages) can take up to 2 minutes for OCR.
3. Ask your first question
When the upload is done, you'll see an auto-summary in the chat panel. Type any question in the composer. Every answer is footnoted to the page — click the footnote to scroll the PDF to that paragraph.
4. Try a suggested question
Below the auto-summary, we suggest 3-5 starter questions tailored to the kind of document you uploaded (contract, filing, paper, etc.). Tap one to ask it.
